I believe we’re all put in each other’s lives for a reason. I believe as human beings, we are all connected in some ways. I believe that nothing happens by accident. Like the alchemist says, when you want something, the entire universe conspires to help you get it. I also believe that when we fearlessly chase our dreams and let our lights shine, we give other people permission to do the same. I believe that we are all put on this earth to manifest and radiate the Glory of God within us, and in that sense we are all connected in some way.
I also believe that as children of God, we deserve the best life has to offer, whether it’s in our schools, our workplace or our communities. My favourite Bible verse is “no eye has seen, no ear has heard, no human mind can fathom the amazing and wonderful things that God has planned for you”. The world also says that “nation shall call you blessed”, notice it didn’t just say people but nations. Isn’t that amazing? This is why as children of God, we need to dream big, in fact, if people don’t laugh at your dreams, they’re not big enough. I remember telling someone, I wanted a first class in law and she didn’t believe it was possible. I also remember telling someone, I was applying to Oxford and they didn’t believe it was possible either. Both dreams became a reality at the end. What am I saying? You need to stop limiting yourself, nothing is too big for God to do; we serve a God of impossible, a God that can move mountains, and a God that defies earthly standards. So you need to raise the heights of your dreams. So don’t apply to the easiest job, or attempt the easiest question on that exam, or not to aim for that first class. Don’t limit yourself, take up that difficult role, attempt that hard question, apply to that top university, begin that start-up, create that website, write that book, give that speech you’ve been so afraid to give, take the risk today! And believe me, on the other side of that risk is something amazing waiting to happen!
You are the light that cannot be hidden, a city set upon a hill, you were born to let your light shine as bright as possible, and by doing so you unconsciously give others permission to do the same!
Sending Positive Energy you way!
